why are they saying the haydh ended before maghrib? i though discoloured discharge was considered haydh? didn’t their period end at before dhuhr, if this situation happens to me, does this mean that i should make ghusl when coloured discharge starts, or when i see clear?
when should qada salat start?
Answer
In the name of Allah, the Inspirer of truth
She saw coloured vaginal discharge during asr prayer time, a few minutes before maghrib prayer time began. Thereafter, she did not see any coloured discharge.
The ruling for the time of the ending of hayd is the time she last sees coloured discharge. This means that her menstruation (hayd) ended during asr prayer time because that is when she saw the last of the coloured discharge which had exited the vagina.
When you check and see that the discharge has become white or clear, or there is no discharge, you should perform the ritual bath (ghusl) and commence prayer as all women are obligated to keep a detailed record of bleeding and purity. The time of ending of hayd you will record is the time you last saw coloured discharge.
And Allah knows best.
