Bleeding After a Miscarriage

Salaam, i have a complicated situation and i am unclear and therefore would like some advice please.

I was 12 week pregnant, but my scan discovered no fetal heartbeat and that the fetus died at just under 8 weeks. This was classed as a missed miscarriage and I had to remove the feotus by taking tablets. This took place on the 23rd March 2021. After i took the tablets i started spotting brown blood at 6pm the fetus then came out at 12.30am in the night. I was bleeding brown blood up until the 19th April 2021. I had 3 days of no blood then began having pre mestrual symptoms like i usually do and then saw brown blood from the 23rd April 2021 – 2nd May 2021 this lasted 10 days. I was told by the doctor my period would come within 4-6 weeks. This was 4 weeks since the miscarriage. According to my 28 day cycle i should have started on the 29th April but started early on the 23rd April and it lasted for 10 days.
My question is was this my period or istihadha? If so how many days?

According to my normal habit i have a regular cycle and bleed for 7.5 days and have a cycle of clean days of 28 days.

First, may Allah reward you for your loss and replace it with something more beloved to you and Him. 

You had a large gap in your menstrual cycles (hayd) due to pregnancy. From March 23rd onwards your bleeding has been continuous, without a minimum 15-day separator. You will use your habit of 7.5 days for hayd and 28 days purity (tuhr) and apply it from March 23rd. You will continue to use these applied habits until you have a minimum of 15 days of purity.
