It is a piece of cotton (kursuf) measuring approximately 3 x 1 inches that is placed at the opening of the vagina, secured between the labia minora. The kursuf can be made from different materials, but since this area is particularly sensitive, we recommend using cotton. You could use interlabial pads, cotton pads, a couple of tissues, toilet paper, soft kitchen towel or best of all, a piece of cotton cloth which is folded to form a padette to the thickness which you find comfortable.
