Is Fasting Accepted if Ghusl is Invalid
Recently I’ve realised the ghusl i have been doing for Haidh over the past few years would be considered invalid as I missed out one of the faraidh. My question is would I need to make up the fasts of ramdhan I kept during these years?
Answer
In the name of Allah, the Inspirer of truth
Purity is not a condition for fasting. If one had the intention to fast and did not experience menstruation (hayd) or post natal bleeding (nifas) during fasting hours, and fast was not broken for any reason, the fast will be valid.
Therefore, you will not need to make up (qada) for the fasts kept in Ramadan.
And Allah knows best.
